Notes:
1) CW will always be operated in Split mode – listening UP
2) Operating frequencies may change based on operating conditions and will be announced in the DX Clusters

FT8 Fox Frequencies:

Please note the following frequencies for FT8 Fox operations:

  • 10m: 28.090 MHz
  • 12m: 24.090 MHz
  • 15m: 21.090 MHz
  • 17m: 18.110 MHz
  • 20m: 14.090 MHz
  • 30m: 10.136 MHz
  • 40m: 7.090 MHz
  • 80m: 3.590 MHz

Instructions for Hound Operators:

  1. TX Frequency: Hounds should transmit on the frequencies listed above.
  2. RX Frequency: Fox will receive on the same frequencies, above 1000 Hz.
  3. Mode: FT8 Fox/Hound mode.
  4. Sequence: Hounds should call the Fox in sequence, using the standard FT8 protocol.
  5. QSO Complete: QSO is considered complete once you receive “73” from the Fox.

SSB operations will always be in Split mode.

To work AU2V on SSB:

  • Transmit on our advertised frequency.
  • We will listen for your call UP 5 to 10 Khz from our transmit frequency.

Please spread out your calls within this range instead of calling on a single frequency. This will help us manage the pileup more efficiently.

Listening Frequency:
We will listen for USA stations on 40m, specifically on 7.160 Khz.

Transmission Frequency:
Please transmit on the standard 40m SSB frequencies.

India Frequency Limitation:
Please note that Indian regulations restrict our transmission frequency to 7.200 Khz and below.

QSO Procedure:
Once you establish contact, please keep the QSO brief to allow others to work AU2V.
